Worked as a Senior Designer and created some of the earliest Concept Art for the movie. Created 3D proxy models for set and prop concept designs. Painted detailed surfacing information for production and worked extensively with the Production Designer to explore the unique and “weird” shape languages of the Addams Family world.
Worked as a 2D/3D Concept Artist with Production Designer Patrick Hanenberger in creating early environment concepts for the movie. I modeled, textured, and lit many of the sets below in Maya to ensure the scale is cohesive in the final 3D environment, especially when we are dealing with lego bricks. The rough CG renders then are brought into further painting and detailing in Photoshop.
